It just hit me this morning that I will be running a 5K on Saturday. Okay, I have known for the last month that I would be running the Color In Motion 5K but I haven’t really put much training effort into it. When I say much, I really mean none at all.
I guess the good news is that I am running it with Lance and a couple friends and none of them have really trained much either. I think it is very safe to say this will be a fun run with zero time goals involved!!
Oh my goodness, the cranberry English Muffins I bought this weekend….they are insanely good!!! I am just a bit obsessed with them and ended up eating two yesterday. One for breakfast and one for lunch.
If you happen to come upon them at your grocery store, put them in your basket with no second thoughts, that way you can become just as obsessed as I am! 🙂
Something else I discovered recently: Kind Bars
Obviously, I have seen these before. I mean I would have to live under a rock not to but I had never purchased one. I am not sure why but I am kicking myself in the butt for not doing it sooner. This particular bar is beyond delicious!! These will most certainly be a go to snack for me when I want something dessert-like but with a nice little punch of protein.
Guess where I am going a bit later this morning? Trader Joes!! It has probably been a month, maybe longer since I have hit up my favorite grocery store so I am far past due for a shopping trip. I am going to pick up some of my TJ staples but I think I will pick up some new to me foods too.
I have been seeing so many posts with items from Trader Joe’s like pumpkin soup and cranberry apple butter that I need in on the action. I am drooling over the idea of topping the cranberry English Muffins with cranberry apple butter!!
I guess I am outta here……I still have laundry and a workout to get done before I get to head out for the day.
