Taking a Short Break

Hi there friends!

You probably have noticed that I have not been around much this week. In light of the recent events, I haven’t felt like blogging much. Getting on here each day and writing about what I am eating or how I am exercising just hasn’t appealed to me. Yes, it is still part of my daily life, obviously, but the enjoyment of sitting down and writing about it just isn’t there right now.

What I am finding joy in: finishing up my Christmas shopping and wrapping gifts, spending time with family and friends and preparing what I will be making on Christmas Day. Can you say homemade cinnamon rolls anyone!?!

What I have decided is that I will break from blogging from now until after Christmas…..just taking a short little break! Besides, I think stepping away for a few days will give me that renewed feeling and I will be excited to hop back on here and update you about my daily life whether you want to hear it or not ;-)!!

Until then, I will leave you with warm greetings for a very Merry Christmas!!!! Take the time to enjoy all those small moments that you may take for granted too often. And most of all, remember what the meaning of the season is truly about!!!
